What you’ll do

Role purpose: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple projects across the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role focuses on the strategic oversight of a program of work, managing interdependencies between projects, several departments, and ensuring the overall coherence of the program. 

Who you are

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  • Program Planning and Strategy:

Developing the overall program plan, defining objectives, and setting strategic direction for the program. 

  • Project Coordination:

Managing individual projects within the program, ensuring they are aligned with the overall program, organizational goals and timelines. 

  • Risk and Issue Management:

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and issues that may impact the program or its individual projects. 

  • Resource Management:

Allocating and managing resources across the program, including personnel, budget, and other assets. 

  • Stakeholder Management:

Communicating with and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners. 

  • Performance Monitoring:

Tracking program progress, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting on program status to stakeholders. 

  • Budget Management:

Developing and managing the program budget, ensuring that projects are delivered within established financial constraints. 

  • Quality Management:

Ensuring that all projects within the program meet the required quality standards

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry, particularly in areas relevant to tower infrastructure (e.g., site acquisition, construction, maintenance, power management). 
  • Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management. 
  • Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Knowledge and experience with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project).

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in build environment Telecommunications, or a related field(Essential)
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • 7+ years’ relevant experience with recognized project management methodologies like PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile. 
  • Proven track record of leading teams 3-5 years’ experience
