Who we are

The Specialist: Financial Systems is responsible for administering, maintaining and supporting M-Pesa systems. He/She must assess feasibility, impact & cost, and address all processes/workflow components to assure that all functional specifications and standards are met on the M-Pesa system. Furthermore, the resource must continually assess the performance and capacity of the system and implement improvements

 The resource acts as liaison between the M-Pesa Business unit, all technical units and 3rd party suppliers supporting M-Pesa, ensuring the system is always available & running efficiently. Lastly, is required to meet M-Pesa system performance KPIs as set by the business.

  • Design and implement new products of quality, and within project budget and timelines

  • Provide Business Continuity plans that are reliable
  • Achieve required business KPIs

  • IT Service Management strategies
  • Databases and server operating systems environment
  • Mobile Money knowledge
  • GSM Knowledge   
  • Complex business analysis cases

Qualifications

Degree in BSc Computer Science (or similar tertiary qualifications)
