Role
Description
The Management Accounting Assistant Manager is responsible for the provision of expert knowledge to deliver the management accounting activities and the accurate and timely processing of all financial journal transactions, ensuring the process controls are effectively maintained and monitored. The Management Accounting Assistant Manager focusses upon process, record, classify, consolidate and interpret Vodafone financials, and who coordinate and manage Vodafone financial reporting requirements, including the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Typically reports to the Senior Management Accounting Manager.
Job Responsibilities
* Accounting of Capex and its direct cost journals, Interface & Subledger & Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Movement and monitoring of Fixed Asset (Capitalization, Disposal and Depreciation)
* Opex to Capex or vice versa reclassification.
* Monthly MIS and reporting.
* HFM Consolidation & SOX Controls compliance &KPIs
* Contributes to the external and internal financial reporting and compliance related activities;
* Maintains solid relations with managers and leaders, and acts as a provider of accurate and complete financial information on the performance of the group/market;
* Uses best practice knowledge to interpret new accounting procedures, assessing their impact;
