About this Role

We are seeking a highly capable and adaptable individual to lead finance operations for the Qatar Local Market across a broad spectrum of processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Record to Report, Master Data Management, ERP enhancements and more. The role involves managing a sizeable team, ensuring robust operational controls, driving digital transformation, supporting audits, and strengthening relationships with senior stakeholders in VOIS CFSL and the Qatar market. This position is ideal for someone with deep functional expertise, strong governance skills, experience in telecom finance, and a passion for continuous improvement

Working days- Sunday - Thursday 

What you will do

  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations for Qatar Local Market across AP, AR, FA, R2R, MDM, Treasury, Intercompany, Mobile Money entity activities, and inventory and lease accounting.
  • Lead a team of approximately 15–16 FTE, ensuring seamless service delivery, people development and operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, SOX/ICFR controls, compliance requirements and operational governance frameworks.
  • Drive process KPIs, conduct performance reviews and ensure SLA delivery across all in-scope processes.
  • Manage and enhance Oracle Fusion ERP through coordination with system integrators, testing, defect management and production stabilisation.
  • Support new migrations, digital automation initiatives and process simplification projects to improve efficiency and strengthen the Digital Touch Index.
  • Build strong senior stakeholder relationships across VOIS CFSL and local markets, ensuring high partner satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic support for improvements in Treasury, Fixed Assets and related financial processes through redesign and project initiatives.

Who you are

  • An experienced finance professional with 10+ years of hands-on exposure across accounting, finance operations, and ERP-led environments.
  • Skilled in managing diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and building a culture of trust and empowerment.
  • Adept at SOX, ICFR, risk management, operational controls and governance frameworks.
  • Expert in Oracle Fusion and/or SAP, with strong process knowledge across P2P, O2C, GL, MDM, SCM, ICO and TCM.
  • A proactive problem solver with excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experienced in process re-engineering, automation, agile delivery and digital transformation.
  • Familiar with working in GCC business environments (desirable).
