The Projects & Programmes team within Vodafone Business Technology Solutions deliver services and solutions to our Enterprise customers. The PMO Managers’ role is to enhance project & programme deliveries within VBTS UK through the application and development of the delivery process, project/programme controls and governance, project consultation, system automation and the monitoring of PMO established KPIs.
The PMO Manager will be an experienced leader and have a high level of competence in all facets of PMO.
What will you be doing?
• Ensure the effective running of the Delivery Methodology and Governance regime for delivery projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio.
• Identify trends across various aspects of delivery and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency within the function.
• Works closely with Practice stakeholders to ensure adequate resource coverage within the Programme/Portfolio or function to support the Delivery Plan.
• Ensures that the stakeholder map and communications plan is current and that timely and accurate information is distributed accordingly.
• Ensure the effective running of the Risk and Change Management process for delivery projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio.
Who are we looking for?
• A recognised qualification or certification in PMO / Assurance (P3O, ISEB).
• PRINCE2 or certification achieved in recognised project management methodology.
• Experience working in an agile environment would be of benefit.
• Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering complex projects and programmes to meet business expectations and deliver results.
• Strong cross-functional working capabilities.
• Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
