The Projects & Programmes team within Vodafone Business Technology Solutions deliver services and solutions to our Enterprise customers. The PMO Specialist will enhance project & programme deliveries within VBTS UK through the application of the delivery process, project/programme controls and governance, project consultation and system automation. The role supports a high performing delivery team to enable successful delivery of projects and programmes (and their associated benefits) to time, cost and quality, within risk profile.
What will you be doing?
• Ensure the effective running of the Delivery Methodology and Governance regime for projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio in accordance with the Vodafone Project Delivery Lifecycle (VPDL).
• Facilitates the development and maintenance of the programme and project plans and dependency logs and identify planning issues and trends and recommend and implement solutions.
• Manage and improve the communication plan for the programme ensure that key information is provided to the required stakeholders by the team on time and to the required quality.
• Ensure the effective running of the Risk Management & Change Management processes for delivery projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio.
Who are we looking for?
• Experience in management reporting techniques and processes, and performance metrics.
• Broad understanding of financial controls, project accounting and benefits realisation process.
• A good understanding of a project environment.
• Experience working in an agile enviornment would be of benefit.
• Able to evidence highly proficient skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
• P3O or Prince 2 are desirable.
