At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers – we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world. If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do

The Agentic Transformation Officer is a newly created, high impact role responsible for making this transformation real across the organisation. This is not a traditional change management or training role. It is a hands-on transformation role focused on how work actually happens, and on embedding agent enabled ways of working into everyday behaviour, performance, and decision making.
You will work closely with Strategy, HR, and the Executive team to ensure that agentic ways of working land, scale, and endure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand How Work Really Happens
•    Lead structured “work shadowing” across key functions to observe real workflows, decision points, and inefficiencies
•    Identify where digital agents can remove friction, automate tasks, or improve decision quality
•    Produce role based transformation maps that guide agent deployment and workflow redesign

2. Build an Internal Agentic Network
•    Identify and develop a network of Agentic Ambassadors across functions
•    Equip them to act as role models and accelerators of agent enabled ways of working
•    Create local ownership and peer led adoption rather than top down change

3. Design Role Based Upskilling
•    Create practical, role specific learning journeys — from Copilot foundations to manager level workflow redesign
•    Ensure learning is embedded in daily work, not classroom only
•    Leverage agents themselves as part of the learning experience where possible

4. Embed Agentic Behavior into Performance & Progression
•    Partner with HR and senior leadership to integrate agentic behaviours into performance, promotion and talent frameworks
•    Define clear expectations around adoption, contribution and ways of working
•    Help ensure the transformation is reinforced through formal people processes

5. Act as a Transformation Signal Lead
•    Track adoption, resistance and behavioral blockers across the organisation
•    Provide regular insight to Strategy and leadership on what is working and where intervention is needed
•    Act early to surface and address risks to transformation success

What You Will Deliver
•    Clear role level transformation roadmaps across the organisation
•    A live internal network accelerating agent adoption
•    Practical upskilling embedded into everyday work
•    Agentic behaviours integrated into people and performance processes
•    Sustainable, measurable changes in how work gets done

Who you are

•    Background in organisational psychology, behavioural design, agile or operating model transformation
•    Experience working inside a company that has undergone a real digital or operational transformation
•    Strong diagnostic skills and curiosity about how people actually work
•    Credibility and confidence to work with senior leaders and challenge existing norms
•    Comfortable operating without a fixed playbook in a fast moving environment
•    Experience designing large scale, role based learning solutions
•    Proven track record of driving behaviour change, not just awareness
•    Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate or similar digital/agentic tools
•    Experience in a complex or regulated industry (e.g. telco, utilities, financial services)
