What you’ll do

As a Data Engineer you will work closely with the Data & Analytics Squad and will be accountable for the design, development and maintenance of full stack Data Warehouse solutions.

 

More specifically you will:

  • Work closely with the Product Owner to understand business needs and objectives
  • Define appropriate architecture and other technical solutions and make recommendations to Solution Architect
  • Analyze existing ELT flows operating at the Oracle technology stack, design and implement new ones. 
  • Design and maintain semantic layers (Reporting infrastructure)
  • Support Data Analysts by providing appropriate datasets and technical guidance 
  • Estimate tasks required to complete various development projects including time and resources
  • Promote cooperation and commitment within the team to achieve goals and deliverables
  • Own the creation & implementation of the deployment kit and respective documentation
     

Who you are

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the field of Telecommunications 
  • Strong knowledge of the following tools: Oracle ODI  , SAP BO  or similar ETL & presentation tool.
  • Fluent in SQL scripting 
  • Knowledge and tuning skills and database design
  • Knowledge in using OLAP technologies and BI Analytics, along with an understanding of different data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
  • Higher education in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts, agile way of working and modern CI/CD processes is nice to have
