What you’ll do

As a Data Solution Architect, you will work closely with the core data integration squad and will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a new secure reliable cutting edge Data Warehouse.

 

More specifically you will:
•    Work closely with the Product Owner to understand business needs and objectives
•    Define appropriate architecture and other technical solutions and make recommendations to the squad
•    Analyse existing ELT flows operating at the Oracle technology stack, design and implement new on GCP
•    Design and maintain semantic layers (Reporting infrastructure)
•    Estimate tasks required to complete various development projects including time and resources
•    Promote cooperation and commitment within the team to achieve goals and deliverables
•    Own the creation & implementation of the deployment kit and respective documentation

Who you are

•    More than 5 years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, product, engineering, solution or technical architecture, application development, database management or operations in a multitier environment. 
•    Experience with cloud computing technologies and serverless computing ( we use GCP )
•    Knowledge of batch and real time technologies.
•    Knowledge of modern data warehouse solutions (Big Query, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift etc )
•    Knowledge of python or any other object-oriented programming language
•    Knowledge in using OLAP technologies and BI Analytics and data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
•    Experience with orchestration tools ( Airflow, GCP composer, Perfect etc ) 
•    Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practises and tools.
•    Experience with IaC tools like terraform will be highly appreciated.
