What you’ll do
You will take responsibility for the local activities related to Fixed Access Network, manage fulfillment network design projects & local rollout deployment projects NGA (FTTH). The role requires a broad aspect of implementing “Build Operate Run” of Fixed Access Networks. You will execute fixed network deployment ensuring Time To Market, cost-effectiveness and quality of delivery according to H&S guidelines including in life contract management (supplier KPI/SLA/Commercial/vouchers/credits), procurement and logistic activities to ensure successful deployment of solutions.
More specifically you will:
- Manage Detailed Planning and Detailed Optimization
- Execute and supervise network deployment
- Manage and control subcontractors and suppliers on deployment rollouts
- Manage fulfillment network design projects and resolve network issues
- Drive operational excellence via efficient fulfillment network design produced from ND
- Guide field operations and assignments while resolving network failures
- Identify initiatives for savings in Fixed Capex/Opex, service improvement and reporting
- Support site operations and equipment maintenance
- Coordinate fiber optic network rollout from end to end
- Track milestones to ensure on time project delivery
- Utilize project tracking and data management tools
- Provide status reporting and data driven insights for project management
- 2nd Level Support for Victus
Who you are

- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Communications, or related field) and/or TEI/IEK equivalent certifications in Fiber Optic Technology
- English language (Fluent oral and written)
- A 3 years’ experience in Fixed Access Networks and /or Voice/Data/Video networking, including high and low level design and/or operational experience maintaining a medium to large size IP/MPLS network
- In-depth knowledge of the following networking technologies:
- Construction of FO networks
- FO passive equipment understanding
- FO cabling specs
- Splicing, Patching
- Relevant Networking related certifications are desirable and will be considered a plus.
- Excellent understanding of existing & future ICT technologies and their business impact.
- Qualification in IP/Network Engineering or other suitable qualification are desirable and will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of Regulatory related to Fixed Access (RUO)
- Good Knowledge in the area of the installation and configuration of network components (Dslams, OLTs, BNGs, Routers, Switches, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, Proxies and others)
