What you’ll do
- In-house development of core components of the service platforms, considering holistic business requirements and cutting-edge technology
- Prototype based on cutting edge technologies (e.g. Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, RESTful ) to evolve product architecture
- Analysis and design of development life-cycle process (CI/CD, Test Automation, Code Quality etc.) of the service/platforms and support their integration into end-to-end use cases
- Govern the services certification process to ensure the appropriate quality in the delivery phase, delivering high quality products and solutions
- Identify opportunities for reuse, standardisation, automation and platform harmonisation across Group Network, supporting consistent adoption of new software technologies and delivery practices
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong software engineering mindset, with a passion for continuous learning, innovation and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Proven experience in backend software development using Java, C++ and Python, including API design and integration.
- Experience in designing system and software architectures, analysing complex technical challenges and developing robust solutions and prototypes.
- Strong knowledge of IMS networks, voice and data signalling, interfaces, protocols and network tracing tools.
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, automation and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Proven ability to deliver well-documented software through collaborative development, backlog management and iterative delivery, while proactively identifying technical risks and designing resilient mitigation solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in multinational environments, with professional fluency in English and the ability to produce clear technical documentation, design specifications and release notes.
