NLU EXPERT
What you’ll do
As a Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Developer for our Conversational Intelligence team, your primary mission is to spearhead the development and optimization of Greek language understanding within the Microsoft CLU (Conversational Language Understanding) framework. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our conversational interfaces comprehend and respond effectively to user inputs in the Greek language, delivering a seamless and contextually rich user experience.
More specifically you will:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of NLU models specifically tailored for the Greek language within the Microsoft CLU framework.
- Ensure accurate intent recognition, entity extraction, and context awareness
- Collaborate with team to curate and annotate datasets for training and fine-tuning NLU models
- Implement robust training pipelines to continually improve language understanding capabilities
- Continuously optimize and refine existing NLU models for efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of NLU models to ensure high accuracy and reliability across various user inputs and scenarios
- Implement strategies to address challenges related to language nuances and variations
- Do prompt engineering for GenAI applications
Who you are
- Solid Computational Linguistics background (MSc preferred)
- Knowledge of Corpus and Applied linguistic for creation of training and test dataset
- Coding skills (drools/java/python) and/or metasyntax annotation for context-free grammar
- Knowledge of markup languages
- Proven experience in developing and deploying NLU models in real-world applications
- Experience with NLU frameworks and tools like Microsoft CLU, SpaCy, NLTK, or similar
- Data science knowledge, experience in data manipulation, augmentation, and data mining
- Fond of using and adapting new technology and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying up to date with the latest advancements in NLU and AI
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field and incorporate new techniques and technologies language AI, GenAI & NLU
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek & English
- Experience with Omnichannel dialogue implementation tools & testing
