What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver passive probing solutions for mobile networks, enabling troubleshooting and monitoring functions. 
  • Deliver high-quality network data feeds for analytics, reporting, customer experience and optimization use cases. 
  • Ensure successful project delivery aligned with milestones, timelines, and quality expectations.  
  • Perform planning and optimization in line with traffic growth, network evolution and business requirements, ensuring probing platform scalability, reliability, good performance, along with proper hardware and software lifecycle management. 
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. 
  • Define technical requirements for probing and metadata generation projects, assess solution suitability, and govern implementation execution to ensure effective delivery.  
  • Design solutions for new service monitoring requirements. 
  • Evaluate business, technical, commercial impacts, perform feasibility studies and manage risks through proactive mitigation planning. 
  • Identify opportunities for automation and simplification. Adopt automation, AI/GenAI practices and pave the way for Autonomous Network transformation in probing ecosystem. 
  • Manage budget planning and execution. Drive cost optimization. 
  • Collaborate efficiently with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. 

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom systems, OSS, or network engineering environments. 
  • Profound knowledge of mobile network technologies (2G, 4G, 5G NSA, 5G SA), network protocols, 3GPP interfaces, and telecom architecture. Strong understanding of mobile network transactions and ability to interpret network data sources and protocol-specific data feeds. 
  • Skilled in OSS architecture, system design, integration, and technical documentation. Strong experience in E2E probing architectural chain: from network element and traffic acquisition methods up to probing application and mediation layer components and ecosystem integrations. Advanced knowledge in metadata generation solutions, data pipelines, data transfer and data enrichment concepts. 
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. 
  • Robust skill set on project management, project delivery as per plan, budget administration, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Familiar with virtualization, containerization, and network cloud concepts. Familiar with IP networking.  
  • Knowledge of AI/ML/GenAI and automation principles. Basic programming skills. 
  • Customer oriented and result driven mentality, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Strong communication skills. Excellent command over English language including communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written.
