What you’ll do
As a PEGA Product Owner you will define and deliver all necessary strategic technological enablers based on native cloud and Open Digital architecture. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining PEGA roadmap, align with Vodafone Group and other squad’s development, to reassure architecture consistency and vision delivery.
More specifically you will:
• Coordinate with the Tribe Leads and other Product Owners the engineering strategy, roadmap and development based on market needs, competition and group directions
• Have end2End accountability for agile development of critical enablers to be used by other squads (e.g. NBAA for Fixed, PEGA for Care etc.)
• Prioritize value for Engineering team and be responsible for the creation of product backlog increments (Themes, Epics, user stories)
• Manage PEGA roadmap and understand IT & digital strategy, presenting direction and features to relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Work closely with Solution Architects on the analysis of features, technical feasibility and incremental delivery of product backlog items (epics, user stories)
• Make data driven decisions for backlog prioritization and works with Tribe lead and Agile Portfolio Manager to pick up and plan release dates and manage set expectation for new functionalities delivery
• Write highly effective user stories that are actionable by development teams.
• Approve the final release plan and accepts all deliverables against defined user stories and acceptance criteria
• Defines and tracks Objective Key Results (OKRs) and KPIs as part of the quarterly business reviews (QBR) process
• Monitors IT & digital KPIs and prioritize enablers that will ensure speed and availability thresholds are achieved
Who you are
• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems
• Experience in developing a product and proven track record for applications launched
• Strong technical background and knowledge of the Telco industry and services
• Experience working with internal and external business partners, driving and completing concurrent projects on time and within budget
• Proven ability to read a business document and translate it into high level technical requirements.
• Understanding operations from customer facing functions to back office
• Strong communication and logical reasoning skills
• JIRA/Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent experience preferred
