What you’ll do
As a Product Owner, you will provide the vision and direction to the team throughout the development lifecycle to deliver the GenAI roadmap. By managing stakeholders and market needs, you will be responsible for aligning the team to deliver top notch features, market value and increase the customer satisfaction. More specifically you will:
• Own and prioritize the GenAI product backlog, ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s IT and business goals.
• Identify and assess GenAI opportunities both internally (across IT and business units) and externally (market trends, vendor capabilities, open-source innovation).
• Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, performance, ROI, and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable GenAI use cases.
• Work closely with engineering, data science, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and ethical GenAI solutions.
• Maintain a clear roadmap and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous delivery using agile methodologies.
Who you are
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a tech or AI/ML environment.
• Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies / in Agile teams is strongly preferred.
• Product Owner experience/certification is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies, LLMs, and AI/ML lifecycle management.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices is a plus.
• Experience handling large data sets using SQL and databases in a business environment.
• Knowledge of Data streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Pub/Sub) and BI ETL tools (Oracle ODI).
