What you’ll do

The Product Owner’s mission is to define, lead and deliver strategic technology initiatives that enable scalable, reliable and future-ready capabilities. The role owns and maintains the Technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with Vodafone Group direction, local business priorities and cross-functional teams. The role will also lead initiatives across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), technical upgrades, EOSL and compliance, platform evolution and architecture consistency, ensuring that technology delivery supports both business value and long-term engineering excellence. 

 

More specifically, you will: 

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology enablers used by internal teams. 
  • Define, maintain and communicate the Technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with Vodafone Group direction, local market priorities and architecture principles. 
  • Lead SDLC-related initiatives, including process improvements, technical standards, delivery governance and continuous improvement of engineering practices. 
  • Drive technical upgrades and cloudification initiatives, Cyber vulnerabilities and risk mitigation actions, platform evolution and modernization initiatives, ensuring readiness, continuity and minimal business disruption. 
  • Work closely with Solution Architects and engineering teams to assess technical feasibility, define implementation options and safeguard architecture consistency. 
  • Prioritize technology initiatives based on business value, technical risk, dependency management and delivery impact. 
  • Coordinate with rest Product Owners, Engineering Managers and business stakeholders to plan releases, manage expectations and ensure timely delivery of new capabilities. 

Who you are

  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems 
  • Experience in developing and delivering large enterprise projects (upgrades, transformation etc)  and proven track record for applications launched 
  • Strong experience with software delivery frameworks, SDLC governance, technical planning and cross-functional ways of working is strongly preferred 
  • Experience working with internal and external business partners, driving and completing concurrent projects on time and within budget  
  • Proven ability to read a business document and translate it into low level technical requirements. 
  • Strong communication and logical reasoning skills. 
  • JIRA/Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent experience preferred 
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and organization skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with both technical and business audiences 
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with high levels of creativity 
  • Customer centricity and data driven decisioning 
  • Self – motivated & trong time-management skills
