What you’ll do

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Principal Architect to lead the design and evolution of SAP solutions within Vodafone Greece. This role will focus on aligning SAP architecture with telecom business processes such as order-to-cash, billing, customer management, and service delivery, while supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You will operate across multiple teams, influencing system design, improving engineering practices, and ensuring our platforms can evolve with growing business needs. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances high-level architectural thinking with pragmatic execution. 

 

More specifically you will: 

  • Define and drive the SAP architecture strategy aligned with Vodafone’s business goals  
  • Lead system design discussions and drive best practices across SAP platforms 
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP and telecom systems (e.g., CRM, billing, mediation, network systems)  
  • Provide architectural governance, standards, and best practices across all SAP initiatives  
  • Support transformation programs including S/4HANA migration and system modernization  
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate telecom requirements into scalable SAP solutions  
  • Lead integration strategies using APIs, middleware, and cloud platforms  
  • Mentor technical and functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery  
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to telecom
  • Communicate with project teams throughout all project stages 

Who you are

  • Computer Science or Engineering background 
  • 8+ years of SAP experience, including 3–5 years in a senior architecture role 
  • Strong experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and enterprise architecture  
  • Proven experience in telecom environments (operators, service providers, or vendors)  
  • Deep understanding of telecom business processes (billing, charging, subscriptions, customer lifecycle)  
  • Experience integrating SAP with telecom platforms (e.g., BSS/OSS systems)  
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, and their telecom applications  
  • Experience with integration technologies (middleware, APIs, cloud services)  
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Working experience in agile environments/teams will be highly appreciated 
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) 
  • Self-motivated and self-managing with strong interpersonal skills  
  • Fulfilled military services (for male candidates)
