What you’ll do

As a Security & Connectivity Presales Engineer you will be responsible for designing and performing tailor-made security and connectivity solutions aligned with customer requirements. Additionally, you must be able to describe the design and the implementation of these solutions. The job holder will have the opportunity to develop expertise in new technologies & services and work closely with a wide network of key accounts and vendors.

•    Design and propose state-of-the-art tailor-made solutions for Security, Secure SD-WAN, Security SD-Lan, and secure identity management that best address customer needs.
•    Manage and coordinate Vodafone’s sub-contractors to bring the appropriate technical solution on time.
•    Participation and ownership of Customer’s RFP, with or without productized solutions.
•    Perform customer visits, lead the technical discussion, prepare the solution design and technical presentations, in collaboration with other technical teams and direct feedback from the customer.
•    It is important to keep up with the latest technology trends to be able to introduce and train internally about new products or solutions accordingly.
 

Who you are

•    The candidate for this position must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in business customer engineering, Security, or Connectivity / Security  Presales. Additionally, should have a university degree in IT or Telecom and more than one certification on the following Vendors Cisco or Huawei (CCSP, level preferred), Fortinet (NSE4 or Higher), Checkpoint (CCSA), or any other relevant certification.
•    Passion for continuous learning of new technologies and stay up to date with technological trends.
•    Proficient in effectively managing large-scale projects utilizing cutting-edge technology.
•    Define and implement a risk management strategy across the project advise the customer for the risk management and construct operational and support guidelines.
•    Inspired to effectively communicate technical and commercial terms and explain the benefits with excellent command of written and spoken Greek and English language.
