What you’ll do
The role is responsible for working closely with software, QA, and system engineers to understand requirements and prototype, architect, implement, operate, and update DevOps solutions accordingly. You must be flexible to constant business and technology change, with the ability to interact, engineer and collaborate efficiently with a wide range of stakeholders.
More specifically you will:
• Design and implement scalable, secure and cost-effective solutions based on business requirements.
• Coordinate as a product owner one or more teams that implement software configuration, integration, build & deployment tools.
• Establish a portfolio of DevOps processes, practices, and tools to empower and support delivery teams in CI/CD with rapid delivery across value streams.
• Automate provisioning, scaling and monitoring processes with infrastructure teams or cloud providers.
• Educate and foster self-service and efficiency wherever possible
• Ensure availability, scalability, maintainability, monitoring of systems for operations
• Educate with training and mentoring junior engineers
Who you are
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a relevant role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or other related field
• Expertise in Cloud Platforms (certifications are a plus) and CI/CD pipelines, e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD.
• Expertise in Virtualization and infrastructure technologies, e.g., Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, VMWare, Xen, KVM, Windows.
• Experience in Public and private cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies, e.g., AWS (preferred), Openstack, Azure.
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, e.g., Terraform, Helm, Ansible.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, client-server communication and networking inside Kubernetes Cluster.
• Experience in Performance Test automation with SonarQube and live Monitoring with Splunk.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, WAF and security policies.
• Advanced ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements, and develop solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and design thinking skills, and ability to produce out-of-the-box ideas and innovative solutions.
• Strong relationship building, persuasion, and collaboration skills, acting as enabler for coordination of activities between technical teams and building of cross-functional relationships quickly and confidently.
• Agility and willingness to track, assess, and incorporate practice and technology developments into day-to-day working.
• Automated software and infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
• Agile and DevOps Software development experience.
