What you’ll do

As a Senior Legal Counsel you will actively contribute to the legal support of business initiatives and ensure compliance within the highly regulated Telecommunications industry. 

More specifically you will: 
•    Serve as trusted partner and provide strategic, actionable guidance and legal advice to cross functional stakeholders
•    Provide legal guidance, support and  ensure compliance across various departments, including but not limited to Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing and Sales, as well as advising stakeholders on changes of regulations and industry trends
•    Proactively identify legal risks, participate in the implementation of compliance framework and corporate policies, in cooperation with key internal stakeholders
•    Ensure compliance with laws , rules and guidelines in regards to a wide range of topics, which may involve corporate, labor law, GDPR and IP issues
•    Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
•    Conduct due diligence and participate in M&A transactions
•    Manage Litigation and supports the coordination of external legal counsels and represent  before courts and regulatory bodies when necessary

Who you are

•    You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an accredited law school. Master’s Degree is considered as a  plus.
•    You have proven experience of 10+ years post qualification experience in a law firm or a company’s legal department
•    You have strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
•    You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively
•    Excellent Drafting and Negotiation Skills
•    Fluency in Greek and English both written and verbal
•    Member of the Athens Bar Association
