What you’ll do

The Strategy Unit within Vodafone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Strategy Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate embodies a dynamic fusion of project management and financial modelling prowess, serving as the linchpin for driving strategic initiatives forward. By adeptly crafting meticulous business cases and financial models, the Senior Strategy Analyst lays the groundwork for informed decision-making. With a keen focus on project management, they orchestrate the seamless implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while mitigating risks. In essence, this role serves as the nexus where strategic vision meets analytical precision, propelling Vodafone towards sustained success.

 

More specifically you will:

 

  • Own and develop analytical models (business cases, DCF valuations) to support strategic decision-making
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functional teams to develop, drive the execution  and monitor progress of multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, while ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones
  • Develop communication material (C-level presentations) for internal stakeholders and recommendations for the executive team
  • Develop and mentor junior analysts to ensure the team's overall success

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related field. MSc, MBA or professional certification required
  • Minimum 4 years professional experience in a strategy, consulting, or related analytical and project-based role, ideally in the telco, media, technology sector
  • Strong project management, communication & organizational skills. Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with high-level of creativity. Valuation (DCF) / business planning experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, coaching, and collaboration skills 
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability on projects, proactiveness and drive to identify and solve business problems
