What you’ll do

The Smart Cities Presales Specialist  will be reporting to the Smart City Supervisor and will be responsible for the technical solutions for Smart Cities RFPs in the Public or Private Sector.

The job holder will be responsible for:

•    Review the RFP requirements and define the solution characteristics needed to comply with the RFP requirements
•    Be the owner of the requests to Vendors for the gathering of the technical documents for Smart City RFPs
•    Review and adjust technical documentation so that is in the appropriate language & format to respond to RFPs
•    Work with Smart City AMs to define costs for the offered Solutions
•    Work with the Bid specialists to submit the RFP responses
•    Enquire with multiple vendors to find the suitable solutions
•    Report regularly on the progress of solution definitions and progress on technical documents writing
•    Work with the bid manager to assess how Vodafone references address RFP requirements
•    Provide training to AMs on the new solutions
 

Who you are

•    University degree in IT or Telecoms
•    2 years of working experience in presales or technical bid management for IoT or IT solutions
•    Excellent command in writing and speaking of the Greek and English language
•    Experience in presales or technical bid management for smart city solutions or systems integration
•    Experience in handling discussions with vendors and suppliers on the offered solutions
•    Strong results orientation 
•    Very good interpersonal skills
