Solution Architect (Value Stream)
What you’ll do
As a Solution Architect you will share the technical and architectural vision for Agile Release Train (ART) to help ensure the Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose. The role is responsible for analysing technical trade-offs, determining the primary components and subsystems, identifying the interfaces and collaborations between them and defining non-functional requirements.
More specifically you will:
- Own the end-to-end high level solution design of complex projects, identify involved systems and subsystems and act as a technical leader for domain architects, engineers, system integrators
- Identify opportunities for modernization and improvements, exploring industry standards and solution alternatives, while applying architecture best practices, golden rules and patterns.
- Establish critical non functional requirements (NFRs), ensuring resilient, secure and cost-effective solutions
- Work with and strongly influence business and technical stakeholders, maintaining a balance between delivery and technology transformation
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos and Inspect and Adapt events
Who you are
- Experience in solution architecture & design in a telco business context and exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
- 5-7 years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment
- Self – motivated with strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple balls
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with high-level of creativity and ability to influence, mentor, and collaborate with agile development teams
- Experience working with agile methodologies and apply agile ways of working is strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English and with both technical and business audiences
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or other related field
