What you’ll do
As a Tech Lead you will provide leadership to all senior IT professionals and technology related work within the Tribe. You will ensure the Squad goals including architectural alignment with the Technology strategy and IT roadmap. You will counsel squads on technology decision making and address technical impediments across the development lifecycle, ensure that development best practices are being applied.
More specifically you will:
- Enabler of the Tribe vision by consulting on technical delivery which is aligned to strategy and business objectives
- Responsibility for supporting the integrity, consistency and compliance with technical standards within the Tribe (e.g. Golden Rules, architecture, integration and coding standards)
- Ensures alignment with IT Core Engineering Tribe Lead in terms of technological strategy and roadmap dependencies
- Responsibility for facilitating the production of IT assets and maintenance of the mid-term road map for these assets consumed by the Tribe
- Participates in defining the technical solutions of squads, providing knowledge and senior technical guidance
- Ensure the technical consistency of solutions in the Tribe with the rest Tribes and IT Engineering strategy
- Aligns with group in terms of upcoming technological platforms and trends and suggests re-usable solutions within the Tribe
- Participates in the Tribe’s technology roadmap and reassures the correct balance between feature and capability delivery and minimizing technical debt
- Supports the Tribe Lead in the creation of new squads and defines the technical skills required to optimize the squad’s effectiveness (e.g. skilled selection of required members and profiles)
- Participates in the quarterly assessment of IT/Business Goals (KPI)
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in IT or Digital Delivery and management of teams
- At least 2-3 years of experience in design and development of RESTful APIs
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- Have a grasp of Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), Microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience working with agile methodologies and apply agile ways of working is strongly preferred
- Solid experience in understanding Customer/User needs and translating them in high quality technical solutions
- Exposed in disruptive technologies, by actively being involved in tracking, scouting, experimenting and defining current and future strategies & evolution roadmap.
- Prior experience of a systematic process of understanding requirements, working with stakeholders and applying engineering and testing concepts to ensure stable digital solutions, incorporating agile/DevOps ways of working
- Deep Knowledge API domain with a proven track record
- Relentless drive for continuous improvement in processes, others and yourself
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English and with both technical and business audiences
