What you’ll do
Being part of a cross-functional team, Ecommerce Product Owner’s mission is to drive the strategy and lead the execution of our digital ecommerce plans to maximize sales and customer experience. Ecommerce Product Owner defines, prioritizes and delivers all necessary commercial roadmap that drives sales and revenue, enhances customers satisfaction and aligns with our overall business goals. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, sales mindset, customer behavior understanding and the ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements.
More specifically you will:
- Lead e-commerce sales for Vodafone Greece, for both tangible and intangible goods and oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce, ensuring an engaging and seamless shopping experience
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision and long-term strategies for our ecommerce and be responsible for the roadmap and plans for our e-commerce
- Coordinate with Tribe and Product Leads the strategy, roadmap and development of features based on market needs, competition and business directions.
- Prioritize value for ecommerce team and be responsible for the creation of product backlog increments (Themes, Epics, user stories) that are actionable by development teams. Also, decide the digital sales campaign as and cooperate with the subject matter experts to identify the best message, the best channel and the best approach that will maximize sales
- Collaborate with cross-functional team (product, brand, UI/UX, engineering, media, digital experience specialists) to turn plans into actionable working items and be responsible for all business requirements for any new ecommerce feature that needs to be developed
- Monitor key metrics (conversion rate, average order value, bounce rate, funnels etc.), productivity and identify opportunities for improvement and create actions based on it
- Utilize data and customer insights to prioritize features and bug fixes based on impact and feasibility.
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience as E-commerce Product Owner/Lead
- Experience on digital sales and campaigning
- Experience in building eCommerce product roadmap and executing feature implementations.
- Experience and knowledge of the Telco industry strongly preferred
- Have strong business acumen in terms of sales and ecommerce
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with internal and external business partners, driving and completing concurrent projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership skills to bring different people or groups together to solve business challenges.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX, digital marketing, and SEO
- Experience working with agile methodologies/in agile teams strongly preferred
- Experience in developing a digital product from insight to launch and aftermarket support strongly preferred
- Understanding of fundamentals of software development processes and procedures, as well as supporting systems and architecture
- Proficiency in planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks as well as tracing progress, managing resources and working with internal and external partners effectively to meet project deadlines
