Digital Data Management Specialist - Expert



Your role in a nutshell:

 

Role purpose: the Data & Analytics team provides high quality data management solutions enabling the delivery of digital dashboard to support top management decisions across Vodafone Group functions (HR, Commercial, Technology, Finance and Enterprise operations). Working in agile project development in collaboration with project managers, IT developers and finance reporting teams to ensure the development and maintenance of complex database solution (Hyperion / Essbase / Cloud based data warehouse) to enable digital reporting. Ensure alignment of the systems with ownership of mapping between transactional & financial data warehouses. Solid understanding on key financial statements alongside with process improvement mindset to contribute on the digital transformation agenda. Working with senior stakeholders to understand their requirements and find and/or develop appropriate digital reporting solutions


What you will do in your role:

 

  • Support the execution of  the system strategy for Group D&A
  • Lead reporting and system changes impact assessment with all teams within Group D&A and local markets
  • Support and ensure the quarterly Board and Management Information meetings agenda and follow up actions
  • Lead and provide end to end data governance support of ExCo and management reporting changes
  • Lead development of database solution (Hyperion / Essbase / Cloud, etc.,) to enable digital reporting and data submission process.
  • Strong cooperation with other _VOIS organizations and functions. Occasionally acting as project manager.
  • Acts as first level support (for the operational reporting teams/ in case of systems issues), escalates and raises 
    incidents.
  • Supports senior role migration. Captures knowledge of the migrated roles and bring it to the _VOIS EU
  • Leads, manages, drives, coaches and trains new members of the reporting team, shares knowledge and best practices.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives.


What will you bring to the team:

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in related fields
  • Solid experience with database management including SQL, experience with Hyperion, Essbase and Cloud based DW
  • ERP system transformation / project delivery (advantage)
  • Advanced Microsoft program skills (MsExcel, MS Access,)
  • Telecom experience (advantage)
  • Fluent English C
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent problem solving skills
