Global Process Lead Procurement



 

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Provides input in the development and evolution of Procurement processes to lead the organization through the process of defining, implementing and documenting innovative business processes and systems. 

  • Collaborates with other Global Process Leads for improvements of touch points and enhancements across functional boundaries, i.e. standardization and centralization across Source to Pay. Develops and executes initiatives that are foundational elements to procurement, achieving business growth and productivity goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver key insights.

  • Supports monitoring and handling of effectiveness and efficiency of the end-to-end business process and monitors the performance of both the process and Shared Service Delivery. 
  • Works with Business Process Owners in the prioritization of strategic directions and ensures the provision of strategic process re-design projects and user satisfaction. Provides internal consultative participation and support for large programs and process development for extraordinary circumstances.

  • Collaborates with other Global Process Leads for improvements of touch points and enhancements across functional boundaries, i.e. standardization and centralization across Source to Pay.

  • Supports monitoring and handling of effectiveness and efficiency of the end-to-end business process and monitors the performance of both the process and Shared Service Delivery.

  • Ensures compliance of process to policies and drives measures is being monitored to make sure that relevant compliance requirements are met. Ensures that a standard set of controls are maintained for each process. Handles the mitigation of internal audit findings related to the process design

  • Identifies the best delivery model for the process in co-operation with the local Market, shared services and potentially outsourcing partners. Ensures Process Governance is driven with a clear and standard PMO guidance

  • Process Communication & Change: Builds and sustains strong relationships throughout the business, provides persuasive communication and works as an advocate for SCM Strategy and Procurement processes.

  • Ensures that the required business change along the implementation of the process roadmap is driven and is actively involved in the core strategic and operational process changes, including annual planning, monitoring/reporting business performance, global business updates, and quarterly reviews. 

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills including good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills, exposure and dealing with diverse and senior stakeholder in the organisation
  • Strong change management skills including Cross cultural awareness on global scale with multinational experience Collaborating with virtual teams  where having exposure   to projects of such nature is a must, taking teams through large scale change program
  • Manage project portfolio and manage demand with project priorities; create teams with right mix of skills, experience, and backgrounds
  • Business process and control acumen and ability to identify varied business problems and suggest solutions, even “out of the box”
  • Demonstrates a robust personal style and ability to manage through volatility: Increasing need to deal with ambiguity
  • 10 years+ experience in blue chip Finance departments / Shared Service Centres, previous roles in global business process management
  • In-depth knowledge of Source-to-Pay process design
