Supply Planning Manager

Your role in a nutshell:
 

The purpose of this role is to manage strategic and tactical planning, ensuring supply chain plans are fully integrated with business strategies. Supply Planning Manager identifies material and capacity constraints and, develops options to mitigate these constraints and proposes process improvements. This role is responsible for identifying risks and determining future requirements, managing long and short-term supply planning activities arising after constrained plan approval and ensuring alignment of supply chain plans with the delivery plans. Supply Planning Manager is responsible for exception management - providing exception resolution or escalation to the relevant level in the organization.
 

 

 

What you'll do:
 

  • Work closely with Global Logistics and Planning COE (Center of Excellence ) team to design and implement IBP Supply Planning functionalities, drive governance and continuous improvement opportunities in IBP Supply Planning through a solid understanding of the business environment and working alongside stakeholders within e.g.  Supply Chaim Management, Procurement and external partners.
  • Use functional knowledge for reviewing Local Market Demands, driving FC accuracy improvement, standardization in IBP Supply Planning process adoption across the markets and improving IBP Supply Planning performances.
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, e.g. IT, Process Governance teams, and Solution Implementation (SI) partners, using appropriate tools and functionalities to minimize operational complexities and support markets for quicker Planning adoption.
  • Creating optimized Supply Plans
  • Preparing and driving Supply Review Meetings
  • Sharing monthly material requirement forecasts with suppliers, identifying potential supplier risks or constraints over the full planning horizon
  • Preparing and driving the Supplier collaboration  meetings
  • Meeting with suppliers to evaluate their performance - identifying main root causes impacting planning performance
  • Inventory management and optimization
  • Monitoring predefined supply plan and identifying potential exceptions that require specific actions (major changes in demand/supply and material shortages)
  • Preparing scenarios and applying predefined protocols for each of the exceptions and follow-up on exception resolution
  • Escalating specific exceptions and proposed resolutions required approval
  • Improving supply planning processes
  • Communication with other functions to ensure alignment on key strategies and business priorities
  • Managing 3 Supply Planners

 

What you will bring to the team:
 

  • 8+ years of experience in related areas of Supply Chain
  • Technology experience is preferred
  • Graduation from an engineering department is preferred
  • Fluency in English 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Project and program management skills
  • Good at driving and engaging people from cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading teams and working in a strat-up environment is a plus
