About this Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior L3 Support Engineer to join our Telco IT team in Pune. This role demands deep expertise in Nokia FlowOne/Instant Link (IL) and involves resolving complex production issues, enhancing system performance, and supporting key IL modules such as BST, Catalog, Provisioning Client, and NEI Development. The position operates on the European calendar and CET time zone, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach to incident management and system reliability.
What you will do
- Deliver L3-level support for Instant Link provisioning systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from L1 and L2 support teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical incidents.
- Monitor system health and performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident support.
- Collaborate on custom logic development and integration with external systems.
- Manage service definitions and version control within the Catalog module.
- Handle provisioning workflows, order management, and rollback scenarios.
- Develop and maintain NEI adapters with protocol-level debugging (SOAP, REST, CORBA).
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IL/Nokia FlowOne support and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Java, Shell scripting, and SQL.
- Experienced in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Skilled in log analysis, performance tuning, and system monitoring tools.
- Familiar with ticketing systems such as Remedy, JIRA, or ServiceNow.
- Understanding of OSS/BSS architecture and integration patterns.
- Exposure to telecom protocols (e.g., Diameter, GTP, SS7) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable with version control systems like Git.
