Role Purpose :

 


This role will be a part of OE and Transformation team, accountable for design and delivery of the VOIS organisational effectiveness and transformation strategy and plans across the VOIS footprint globally, covering 8 countries and over 30,000 colleagues. 

As an Organization Design & Effectiveness Lead, you will manage the delivery of varying OE activities including health checks, grading, headcount planning and reporting, and job architecture. The role needs to demonstrate a sound understanding of Organisation Effectiveness tools and operating models to help shape policy, processes and practices that enable and improve simple and effective business planning and management. The OE Lead provides effective OE guidance and advice and leads, develops and implements projects to help enable VOIS to deliver the corporate strategy.

The role will also support developing and recommending macro-operating models and organization structures across _VOIS, partnering with the rest of the OE team and business on strategic priorities and transformations to ensure _VOIS is effectively organized to deliver its strategy. 

This role also aims to create an environment that enables our employees to reach their full potential and ensures our customers receive the highest level of service.
 
 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:


 
•    Owns OE and Transformation governance
•    Acts as a PMO for OE and Transformation projects across function and centres
•    Apply deep specialist OD and change expertise and consultancy to support HRBPs on specific OD initiatives, such as OD approach, application of OD tools, assurance of designs etc
•    Develop best practice organizational effectiveness frameworks / tools to be used during organization, operating model and sourcing model review studies in close collaboration with Group OE.
•    Act as guardian of key org related KPIs (span, layer, management ratio, EC / OpEx, etc)
•    Lead monthly and annual headcount & employment cost budgeting & governance activities for the respective centre and service line including monthly reporting
•    Own job evaluations and architecture for VOIS
•    Leads annual organisational healthcheck and similar effectiveness and efficiency exercises
•    Support diagnose, design and delivery of prioritised organization design initiatives across _VOIS, often crossing multiple functions, business units and geographies.    

 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

 


•    Commercially savvy / good depth of business understanding
•    Good breadth of HR and OE experience 
•    Consulting skills background is preferred
•    Strong stakeholder relationship skills; strong communicator
•    Analytical, intellectual capacity to learn very quickly
•    Experience of large matrixed blue chip organisations
•    Experience of supporting organisational transformation, capability building and working with ambiguity


    Must have technical / professional qualifications: 


•    HR Professional Qualifications desirable but not essential
•    Understanding of Telco and shared services business models, capabilities and labour market (advantageous)
