About this Role

We are seeking a Technology Product Owner to lead the development and lifecycle management of Network API products. This role involves managing the product roadmap, backlog, and transformation journeys, while ensuring alignment with technology strategy, operational governance, and customer experience. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, vendors, and delivery squads to translate strategic goals into actionable features and ensure seamless integration across markets.

What you will do

  • Manage the interface between the Network API Practice and market Product Managers.
  • Contribute to the technology product/platform strategy, roadmap, and backlog using inputs from lifecycle activities and operational feedback.
  • Design and oversee product transformation journeys, ensuring minimal impact on customer experience and budget.
  • Align product/platform costs and budgets with stakeholders including Finance and governance bodies.
  • Act as the single point of contact for data privacy and security issues, ensuring mitigations are implemented.
  • Lead technology planning, confirming technical debt, enablers, and KTLO requirements.
  • Progress new demands into impact assessments and validate roadmap viability.
  • Govern EPICs and capabilities, sequencing them into new product development.
  • Prioritise technology innovation and customer co-creation in product development.
  • Own and manage product backlogs, translating capability requirements into buildable features.
  • Ensure local market integration and alignment of technical specifications.
  • Undertake in-life technology management including service and systems.
  • Contribute to product collateral such as service specifications, SLAs, and training materials.

Who you are

  • Experienced in technical product development and ownership, particularly within API portfolios.
  • Skilled in translating complex product requirements into technical epics and features.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, security principles, and information security frameworks.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies (e.g. SAFe) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Able to manage product risks, budgets, and vendor performance.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Customer-centric with experience in co-creation and defining product capabilities.
  • Familiar with core platforms, API integrations, and collaboration tools.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • SAFe Agile PO/PM certified.
