Your contribution:  

  • You are responsible for the rollout of passive infrastructure for new construction and conversion measures in mobile communications (tower area) while adhering to deadlines and budgets and taking into account the economic, technical and legal framework conditions until handover to the customer.  
  • Responsibility for the members assigned to your team, both in technical and disciplinary terms  
  • Responsibility for the targeted use of the budget allocated to the group for investments, including the derivation of budget optimization measures  
  • Shaping the conceptual cooperation and independent negotiation management with external service providers and vendors in the context of operational network expansion projects for Vodafone Germany and other (external) customers.  
  • Actively review our processes for improvement potential and provide feedback to key stakeholders for best practice approaches, including the introduction of new cost-effective technologies and projects  
  • Creating requirements for the further development of infrastructure-specific reporting 

 

What makes you stand out: 

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in in the telecommunications industry and in project management as well as sound knowledge of processes in network construction (fixed network and mobile telephony) 
  • An university degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable professional training (communications engineering / computer science / physics / electrical engineering) or equivalent knowledge acquired in practice (e.g. many years of professional experience as a technician 
  • Extensive experience in the design and implementation of processes and workflows in the field of deployment and in related specialist areas 
  • A strong conceptual and analytical way of thinking and working, competent appearance, team spirit, assertiveness and negotiation skills in dealing with internal and external suppliers  
  • Proven experience as a manager and willingness to travel 
  • Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2) skills written and spoken
