Your contribution: 

  • You effectively engage with the relevant institutions on all legislative matters in Germany with relevance to the business to ensure Vantage Towers’ interests are protected

  • You identify, build and maintain Vantage Towers’ relationships with political institutions, and influential stakeholders in Germany, both at federal and state level; e.g. by developing and establishing event formats to engage in political discourse

  • You prepare and/or deliver keynote speeches and presentations on behalf of Vantage Towers at key events and functions

  • You develop and then execute/communicate public policy, legislative positions, and engagement strategies whilst coordinating with relevant industry associations to amplify Vantage Towers’ positions

  • You monitor all relevant legislative and non-legislative files with a potential impact on Vantage Towers’ business

  • You gain a clear understanding of the concerns of key policy makers, and influencers in relation to Vantage Towers and its actions/strategies and keep its senior management abreast of political developments

 

What makes you stand out:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a related field; ideally with experience in leadership roles

  • Successful track record in planning and executing advocacy campaigns, influencing policy development and legislative processes

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, parliamentarians, and industry associations

  • Extensive knowledge of legislative processes and regulatory frameworks on state, federal, and EU level

  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences including government officials, media, and industry stakeholders

  • Native-level proficiency in German, both spoken and written, and fluency in English
