What you'll do

 

The Capacity & Configuration Lead will provide a point of focus for network capacity performance and effectively manage the control of assets by providing a logical model detailing how the assets and components interrelate.
 

•    Produce Capacity Reports, based on business usage trends, business Capacity Plans, taking into account the customer’s strategy and demand forecasts including the planned deployment of new or changed services.
•    Customer Capacity & Configuration reports should be delivered within agreed SLAs and must clearly document assumptions, options and recommendations.
•    The individual will be accountable for using toolsets and applications from the Configuration & Capacity Management system to provide accurate and current information in support of the customer and all other ITIL roles and processes.
•    To provide ITIL aligned Capacity, Configuration and Asset Management.
 

Who you are 

 

•    Experience producing capacity & configuration management reports.
•    Experience of communicating to all levels of the business internally and externally.
•    Experience of capacity & configuration management within the Public or Private Sector
•    Telecoms background
•    Knowledge of Capacity Management within Transmission and IP network and related hardware/software.

 

Security Clearance: This position requires the eligibility and ability to obtain and hold UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
