Join Our Team as an OSS 2nd Line Operations Engineer!
Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for maintaining seamless IT operations? We're looking for a talented 2nd Line OPS Technician - OneDMS to join our dynamic team. As a 2nd Line OPS Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting operational activities and ensuring the stability and reliability of the DMS (Document Management System) application.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in daily operations of the DMS application, ensuring stable performance under senior team members' direction.
- Provide initial support for incident analysis and resolution, escalating complex issues to senior staff and documenting basic resolutions.
- Track and coordinate problem tickets with teams and partners.
- Gather information and perform initial evaluations for change requests.
- Conduct routine system checks and monitor operations to identify any deviations or potential issues.
- Execute pre-written scripts for operational tasks and error handling.
- Assist in production checks during software migration activities to ensure smooth deployment.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners on routine service requests or escalations under supervision.
- Contribute to root cause analysis by providing initial data and insights for production issues.
What We're Looking For:
- Graduation degree in technology or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with Document Management Systems (DMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, with the ability to troubleshoot simple issues.
- Knowledge of managing and supporting Windows Server environments across versions 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Ability to execute basic scripts using tools like PowerShell or DOS.
- Basic understanding of Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL for troubleshooting simple database issues.
- General knowledge of SOAP and REST methodologies for supporting web services.
- Familiarity with IP addressing, DNS, and proxy servers.
- Understanding of basic protocols like IP, TCP, HTTP, FTP, and TELNET.
- Exposure to basic monitoring processes; exposure to tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OCI is advantageous.
- Fluent in written and verbal English; proficiency in German is desirable.
