Join Our Team as an OSS 2nd Line Operations Engineer!

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for maintaining seamless IT operations? We're looking for a talented 2nd Line Operations Specialist OSS to join our dynamic team. As a 2nd Line Operations Specialist, you'll support and collaborate with software developers to enhance our OSS Applications for DE customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining production systems and applications to ensure availability and performance.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and resolution for incidents, alerts, and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Support daily health-checks and proactively escalate identified issues.
  • Execute routine deployment tasks using CI/CD pipelines under guidance.
  • Work with version control systems (Git) to track and manage changes.
  • Assist in basic OSS application support (2nd Line), including service restoration and change implementation.
  • Maintain and update documentation for configurations, processes, and known issues.
  • Collaborate with Engineers in problem investigations, root cause analysis, and workaround implementation.
  • Identify and suggest process optimizations and basic automation improvements.
  • Participate in on-call support as needed for critical systems under supervision.
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Basic understanding of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems for basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SQL for querying databases.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).
  • Exposure to scripting/programming (Bash, Perl, or Python).
  • Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and APIs is a plus.
  • Basic telecom domain knowledge and understanding of IP networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment.
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
