About this Role
What you will do
- Ensure fair and accurate representation of the balance sheet and P&L in line with Group Accounting guidelines.
- Oversee statutory and fiscal compliance in adherence with all local regulatory requirements.
- Act as the single point of contact for internal and external auditors, and collaborate with fiscal authorities.
- Deliver tax-related initiatives including VAT reimbursement, transfer pricing, tax exemptions, and state aid projects.
- Advocate for full adherence to fiscal rules and recommend enhancements to policies and processes to ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Lead and develop the Accounting & Tax team, ensuring capability building, skills alignment, and individual development plans.
Who you are
- Experienced in a similar accounting and tax leadership role for a minimum of 2 years.
- Skilled in people management, empowering team performance and professional growth.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and confident decision-making.
- ACCA or CIMA qualification is considered an advantage.
