Your day to day

Reporting to the General Manager – Cyber Security, you will support the the growth of the DevSecOps team as it looks to the future to support the global Vodafone security posture with respect to Vodafone’s DevSecOps strategy.

You will be responsible and accountable for facilitating end-to-end agile DevOps/DevSecOps ways of working – which includes organising and leading scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, refining the backlog, promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to scrum principles and values. You will have years of experience working with agile DevOps/DevSecOps technical software engineering teams. You are highly organised, a great communicator and are an expert planner – you can generate high quality dashboards and reports.

You will work very closely within a highly technical team including Delivery Leads, Cyber Security Architects, Product Owners and DevSecOps Software Engineers as well as wider stakeholders across Cyber Security and the business to ensure DevSecOps work is visible, tracked against our Vodafone objectives and delivered on time. You will be responsible for identify risks, dependencies, and impediments, leading the team and business in finding a solution, coordinating with other teams and stakeholders, and actively escalating when needed to ensure resolution.

  • You will lead agile DevOps/DevSecOps ways of working across an agile DevOps/DevSecOps team
  • You will work across all DevSecOps stakeholders in Cyber Security, and it is expected that there will be limited engagement with external third parties

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • • You have minimum 5+ years experience in a scrum master role with a technical DevOps/DevSecOps team, and have a technical background with proven hands-on experience of managing projects using agile methodologies and in large scale projects as scrum master
  • •You have expertise working with Azure DevOps to track work items, and tools such as Confluence, MS Teams, MS O365, Mural
  • •You have excellent communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios and communicate security risk in business terms and the ability to interact effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders as well as excellent project management and time keeping capabilities
  • 5+ years as a certified Scrum Master
  • Agile and scrum master certifications such as SAFe
  • Experience in large TechCom or Telecom carriers or Telecom vendors.
  • Good understanding of automation tooling such as PowerAutomate and PowerBI
  • Security Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GSEC
