Your day to day:

As an Agile Project Manager, you are responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle—from gathering requirements to operational and commercial readiness. You will work with a diverse portfolio of products and services, including IoT, Mobile Private Networks, Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, Cloud Migrations, Unified Communications, and more, playing a key role in Vodafone’s strategy for market growth.

In this role, you will oversee complex technology projects, from hardware implementation to software solution development and deployment. You will lead international matrix teams and ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery in an on-call environment.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Manage complex, multi-layered projects (ART/Epics) involving software development, hardware infrastructure, and system integration.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including scope definition, PI Planning, and stakeholder management across international teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Agile governance processes, monitoring quality, predictability, flow, and velocity to align with expected benefits.
  • Provide accurate reporting, risk management, and timely issue escalation for effective resolution.
  • Prepare and deliver project plans (Iteration Planning, Review, and Retrospective) while ensuring proper change control
  • Be available for overtime and night hours when necessary to meet project demands
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, using project-specific reporting frameworks.
  • Conduct Lessons Learned activities and ensure proper documentation for continuous improvement.
  • Manage third-party vendors in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Review and provide feedback on internal processes to align delivery with strategic objectives.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Project management expertise in IT/TELCO, with hands-on experience in complex, global projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different lifecycle stages.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies, ensuring process adherence and optimization.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring proactive problem resolution.
  • Experience in reporting and governance, ensuring visibility and transparency at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or Management.
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe/Agile, or equivalent.
  • English proficiency (minimum B2 level); additional languages are a plus.
