Your day to day:

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for project lifecycle management, from requirements to operational and commercial readiness. The portfolio of covered products and services represents an essential part of the strategy to the Vodafone company to increase its market share.

The managed projects (Technology Project Management) within the role involve the introduction of specific Vodafone solutions starting from the physical level of Hardware implementation characteristic of the delivery up to the logical level that involves the disassembly and implementation of the Software solution over the created infrastructure.

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the execution of various projects, in all aspects, in international matrix teams. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the on-time and on-budget delivery of new and improved products as expected.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • execution of various standard projects (software development, hardware infrastructure, integration of software and hardware systems), in all aspects, in international matrix teams
  • all aspects of project management, including scoping, detailed project planning, financial management, training and managing project teams Take an active role in the Agile community of practice, being a source of agile knowledge and experience.
  • Manages project scope and budget and monitors expenses and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the project progresses.
  • To prepare and deliver the Project Plan (highlighting the tasks, dependencies and time intervals) that can be used as a reference line and then passed through the Change Control process in accordance with the defined methodology
  • Accurately report project progress to stakeholders at all levels, using project-specific communication plans

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • experience in delivering IT projects (HW and SW integration) on time, on budget and according to specifications
  • experience in managing standard IT/TELCO projects
  • Previous experience in project management:  delivery of projects on time, on budget and according to project specifications
  • Conflict management skills
  • Prince 2, PMP, SAFe/Agile or similar certifications.
