What you’ll do
As a Back End Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of digital solutions that support both internal and external customers. You'll work within the BSS Development team, collaborating with developers, product colleagues, and business partners to deliver reliable and scalable applications.
- Develop applications and services as part of an Agile squad.
- Build and maintain backend interfaces and services exposed to internal and external consumers.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Support the implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions.
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and external systems.
- Contribute to the implementation of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Apply software engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of integrated services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Actively support interoperability between applications and platforms.
- Own the technical deliverables agreed within the squad during planning sessions.
- Support interoperability between applications and platforms.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, standards, and technical practices within the squad.
Who you are
You are a motivated backend engineer who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and working in a collaborative Agile environment. You're committed to delivering quality software while continuously developing your technical and professional skills.
We're looking for someone who has:
- 2+ years of experience in software development (Java / JEE).
- Good experience designing and implementing multi-layer applications using Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and an understanding of SOAP services.
- Basic understanding of application servers such as Weblogic, JBoss, and Tomcat.
- Hands-on experience with JEE technologies (CDI, EJB, JPA, JMS, JTA, JSP, JSF, JAX-WS, JAX-RS).
- Understanding of security concepts such as OAuth and OIDC.
- Experience with relational databases (MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFe) using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet delivery commitments.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (mandatory).
- Technical certifications (optional but appreciated).
