Your day to day:

  • Drive the Mobile Backhauling network deployment plans related to the deployment of new POC and all relevant and related network transformations.
  • Effort evaluation, estimating execution time plan, drafting of network documentation for deployment according to the defined Plan.
  • Ensure traffic measurement reporting and dimensioning analysis.
  • The Knowledge of API interfaces and all standard protocols for automation toward Inventory  tools, SDN IP MV, Hierarchical Controller, Provisioning tools, Advanced forecast traffic model and statistical analysis are mandatory   
  • The ability to create template for automation is one of the key goals 

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Low level design of the infrastructure and services for IP/MPLS network
  • Traffic monitoring and dimensioning of the IP/MPLS network
  • Documentation of the design and collaboration with other teams to ensure delivery of the required changes 
  • Deliver infrastructure and service designs aligned with group guidelines and satisfying local market needs
  • Fulfilment of 100% of projects / networks defined in plan
  • Optimum use of network resources & spending

With these skills, you are a great candidate:

  • Knowledge of IP Backhaul and underlying technologies & architectures (IP/MPLS, Optical networks, Microwave)
  • Ability to follow a delivery process and produce deliverables in time and with the right level of precision 
  • Ability to produce low level designs for Huawei IP/MPLS network
  • Ability to use different digital tools (Provisioning, Inventory, Forecasting) to gather information and ensure efficient dimensioning
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with other Vodafone’s function
  • Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT
  • 5 years of professional experience in the telecom.
  • Fluency in English
  • University degree (must have): Computer Science or Electrical engineering. MSc Telecommunications – preferred.
  • Professional certificated (e.g. CCNP, CCIE) is an advantage
