About this Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Architecture & Platform Engineering function in Bucuresti. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end analysis activities supporting the development and enhancement of enterprise products. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and key stakeholders to ensure clear project scopes, manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions that enhance customer experience and meet business objectives. You will also lead internal improvement initiatives to support team growth and continuous development.
What you will do
- Collect and formalise business requirements for the development or modification of software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and discuss business requirements.
- Contribute to defining and agreeing technical and functional specifications, maintaining ongoing communication with implementation teams.
- Analyse, plan, and monitor implementation activities for software and business solutions in areas such as UCC, IoT, Cloud, and Security, ensuring alignment with agreed specifications.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of business requirements using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Coordinate traceability throughout projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and implementing risk mitigation measures.
- Support the development and execution of acceptance tests, verifying that deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
Who you are
- Experienced in user story definition, refinement, and backlog management.
- Knowledgeable in Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, TDD, BDD, Kanban).
- Skilled in business and systems analysis within large digital environments.
- Proficient in designing, executing, and validating user and technical acceptance tests.
- Familiar with market research, design thinking, and lean start-up methods (MVPs).
- Strong in customer experience design for digital products and services.
- Competent in analytics, A/B and multivariate testing, and data-driven decision making.
- Experienced with team facilitation and management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
- Possess strong facilitation, organisational, and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Customer-centric, with an entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset.
- Understands business capability, user journeys, and desired product outcomes.
- Flexible in planning and estimation, balancing customer and commercial needs.
- Informed about current telecommunications and digital services markets and emerging trends.
- Holds a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Has at least two years’ experience in business analysis or a similar role, supporting full product lifecycles.
- Knowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, ITIL, ISEB, ARIS, and Business Process Framework.
- Experienced in managing senior stakeholders.
