About this Role

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the analysis of complex technical systems and translate regulatory and security requirements into effective business and operational solutions. This role focuses on improving processes, workflows, and compliance outcomes across Vodafone Cloud & Infrastructure (VCI) and VodafoneThree environments, with strong exposure to the UK market, Telecom Security Act obligations, and Ofcom-aligned practices.

What you'll do

  • Lead and support compliance execution activities, including gap analysis, remediation planning, and maintenance of evidence repositories aligned with Ofcom requirements.
  • Work closely with Cyber Security, IT Operations, Corporate Security, and platform owners to align technical controls with policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse and interpret security and compliance policies, translating them into practical operational controls and supporting teams through implementation.
  • Partner with VCI and VodafoneThree platform, application, and technology teams to ensure adherence to TSR Code of Practice requirements.
  • Use advanced Excel capabilities to analyse data, track compliance metrics, identify trends, and present clear insights to stakeholders.
  • Contribute technical expertise to project delivery, including requirements gathering, validation, and technical gap assessment.
  • Support audits, governance forums, and programme reporting by preparing accurate updates and documentation.
  • Help design and implement technical and process improvements that strengthen compliance, efficiency, and risk management.

Who you are

  • You bring 8–9 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar role within complex technology environments.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • You have a strong understanding of infrastructure platforms, including virtualisation, management planes, and security concepts.
  • You are experienced in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation, with strong proficiency in Excel.
  • You are comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including security, operations, and regulatory-facing teams.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • You can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute effectively within structured project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the Vodafone ecosystem, UK telecom security regulations, and cross-border hosting considerations is advantageous.
