Business Change Manager

Your day to day:

The Business Change Management Lead at VOIS is a pivotal role in extending the ERP transformation objective. Vodafone will implement a significant number of ERP and transformation projects in the coming years, contributing to the company’s strategy to further digitize internal processes. The main responsibility of the Business Change Management Lead is to carry out the project plan, secure the necessary resources, coordinate project quality assurance, change management generated by the implementation of new software solutions, project risk, and issue management, track and report project progress against the initial set objectives and budget.

 

Who are you

You are an experienced professional with a demonstrable track record of managing business projects with a technology component in a multinational environment. You possess excellent working knowledge of project/programme management methodologies and techniques and have experience in supporting business and technology-based programs with a focus on the systems development lifecycle. You have a collaborative working style coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and are adept at stakeholder management and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Lead and support the Business Change Management team in delivering a consistent change management strategy across the business in all impacted functions as per the decided implementation methodology and agreed project plans.
  • Coordinate project execution as well as the execution of all ongoing projects in the Financial Operations, Supply Chain, and Human Resources area or on IT solution integrations such as ARIBA for Supply Chain, Success Factors for Human Resources, Network Stock Systems and Data Enterprise Model for the Finance department.
  • Establish programme governance processes to ensure timely decision-making with all stakeholders, checking the work of the system integrator, other vendors/consultants, and implementation plans in local markets.
  • Monitor and ensure governance of planning, budget, and quality criteria.
  • Define, implement and operate risk and problem management, change management, and interdependencies.
  • Provide day-to-day management of the program, both during implementation and during handover to teams who will manage/use the system after implementation.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed program work plan, including identifying and agreeing on dependencies, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Produce programme-wide progress reports and supporting information required for EVO Governance Status Meetings and EVO SteerCo meetings.
  • Coordinate and conduct reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with EVO governance policy and standards.
  • Plan and conduct regular reviews to assess compliance with EVO policy and governance standards.
  • Manage assigned projects, plan, prioritise and allocate resources to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure directs direct reports to ensure a high level of performance within the team, continuously monitoring individual performance and establishing corrective actions to achieve individual and group objectives.
  • Conduct regular checks on safety conditions in the workplace and ensure that safety rules are implemented in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Support the delivery and implementation of transformational objectives and identified business improvement activities arising as a result of the programme impact.
  • Collaborate with the Central Cluster managers, trainers, communication and Finance partners in order to develop and deliver specific information.
  • Act as a key facilitator for change, supporting management through cross-functional decisions by communicating changes, assessing central and local market risks, evaluating potential impacts to programme delivery and recommending resolutions.
  • Ensure all processes and flows are discussed, agreed and documented within the local and the central teams.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
•    7 years+ recent telecoms experience in project management, communication or change management area

•    Excellent working knowledge of project/programme management methodologies and techniques.
•    Experience in supporting business and technology-based programs with a focus on the systems development lifecycle;
•    Experience working in cross-functional programs;
•    Collaborative working style coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
•    Excellent communication/presentation skills, including the ability to produce professional written documents
•    Demonstrable track record of managing business projects with a technology component in a multinational environment;
•    The knowledge of methods to enable the business to transform processes, technology and organisational change
•    Skills and leadership competencies for people relations, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving including conflict management.
•    Stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
•    Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences 
•    Critical abstract and applied thinking skills
•    Solid and strong project management skills, proven track record in executing

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

  • Excellent use of specific tools – Power Point, Work, Excel, Sharepoint
  • Thorough knowledge of document management systems, preferably SAP Solution Manager
  • Cetain level of project management experience 
  • Specific Change Management certification, Aris and Hub experience will be a plus
