Your day to day

Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is the primary control to protect Vodafone from exposure of sensitive data to unauthorised parties through encrypting, monitoring, detecting, and blocking the unauthorised exposure of sensitive data whilst in use, in-motion and at rest. Whilst typically associated with a threat actor stealing information, sensitive data exposure can be both malicious and accidental by employees and contractors with access to sensitive information. In the case of a malicious actor, a common action that will be taken on objectives is data exfiltration, which includes collecting, encrypting, and extracting information from a victim environment.

You will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and daily monitoring of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environments and monitoring and responding to the alerts that generate from the tool. This person will interface closely with other DLP Security Analysts, Service Managers, Engineers, Architects, and internal customers

With these skills you are a great candidate

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT multi-cultural environment
  • Consolidated knowledge of the Information security model: confidentiality, integrity, availability.
  • Consolidated knowledge about Security Risk management processes & procedures
  • Ability to work across international and distributed teams in a virtual environment;
  • Strong problem-solving troubleshooting, analytical skills promoting out of the box thinking;
  • Proficient in MS tools: excel, powerpoint
  • Fluent English (minimum level required: B2)

•   Monitoring, analysing and managing alerts

•   Administrate & monitor the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environments.

•   Monitor - DLP incidents to prevent the loss / leakage of sensitive and confidential data; perform DLP assessment of the incidents based on the severity and according to DLP procedures within the agreed SLA

•  Perform 1st level & 2nd level analysis, investigations and research based on the real vulnerabilities of data loss.

•  Proactively Identify risks and malicious behaviors to contribute to improving the data management process.

•  Ensure protection of networks, systems and applications by enforcement of DLP security policy and through use of systematic DLP event analysis

 • Communicate in real time with the investigation teams and crisis management, regarding the identified situations, ensuring the end of all processes and / or vulnerabilities of data loss

•  Work with vendors to support the DLP technology (troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.)

•  Interface with clients in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements to improve the efficiency of daily tasks, monitoring, and processes with innovative ideas
