About this role

As a DevOps Specialist you will support the development and operations teams in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our applications and infrastructure. You will contribute to automation efforts, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems. 

What you’ll do

  • Develop scripts, tools and CI/CD pipelines to automate recurring operational tasks and improve deployment processes.
  • Support incident response and troubleshooting activities for production systems and services.
  • Participate in proactive maintenance and monitoring of cloud-based environments to ensure service availability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement improvements in system performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to transformation and technology refresh programmes aimed at reducing downtime and increasing service quality.

Who you are

  • Up to 2 year of experience in supporting applications and infrastructure, ideally in a cloud environment.
  • Programming/scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, YAML) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ADO Pipelines).
  • Understanding of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or AWS database services.
  • Knowledge of general security principles is a plus.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced Agile environment.

English proficiency (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus

What skills you will learn

 

The individual will further develop automation and scripting expertise, strengthen incident management and troubleshooting skills, gain deeper exposure to cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code, and build practical experience working within Agile delivery models.
