We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
About this Role
What you will do
- Administer and optimise provisioning and monitoring platforms, including critical OSS applications.
- Lead deep-dive troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and implement lasting corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring and incident detection solutions to support proactive operations.
- Support configuration management activities and contribute to technical project implementation.
- Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to resolve complex or escalated technical issues.
- Work closely with NOC engineers and other Service Delivery teams to ensure effective coordination.
- Apply Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes (INM, PRM, SRM) in line with operational standards.
- Utilise ticket management systems and automated routing tools effectively.
- Maintain accurate and compliant operational documentation, including KEDB, inventories, operational guides, and workarounds.
- Ensure strong communication flow, effective escalation, and adherence to SLAs through proactive monitoring and reporting.
Who you are
- Experienced in developing and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Skilled in Linux OS administration, application and database support, and telecom-related protocols.
- Proficient in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python or Bash.
- Hands-on exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of virtualisation platforms including VMware vSphere/ESX or Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with automation and digitalisation techniques in network operations.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Aligned with ITIL practices, including role/access management, security controls, change and release processes, and documentation maintenance.
- Holds a university degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science.
- Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in server/application operations and maintenance, and 3+ years in Linux and database operations.
