You´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities:

  • Maintains calendars and appointments, coordinating / arranging internal and external meetings, receives guests and makes travelling arrangements for the manager;
  • Anticipates business needs of the manager, taking accountability for filtering, prioritizing and escalating key issues which impact how the manager operates;
  • Keeps track of both manager's and her own expenses, approves payroll and other requests on behalf of the manager, as per his/her consent;
  • Coordinates and prepares the events and workshops the manager is attending;
  • Offers guideline support for the department with regards to administrative inquiries or problems;
  • May attend and prepare business meetings, may be managing projects;
  • Liaises and interacts across the leadership team and with other departments; gets a better understanding of the business by attending regular meetings with Director’s direct reports and shares best practices;
  • Demonstrates a good level of knowledge about the Vodafone business, acting as a liaison to all internal and external contacts in a manner that promotes the professional image of Vodafone.

What you bring?

  • Proven experience in working with Board members, understanding the challenges and the responsibilities this job implies;
  • Analytical thinking, capacity to work and take decisions in stressful situations, anticipation and proactively meeting the manager’s needs;
  • Good knowledge of English language;
  • Medium experience in events’ organization;
  • A can-do attitude and lots of enthusiasm;
  • Able to work well within a multinational, multicultural environment.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications and expertise:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on a similar position;
  • Expert use of English, both written and spoken;
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office pack.
