About this Role

We are seeking a Fixed Access Performance and Benchmarking Expert to support the stability, performance improvement and customer experience of Fixed Networks across Vodafone’s European markets. The role focuses on defining and reviewing Fixed Access Network KPIs, supporting KPI dashboards and automation, coordinating internal and competitive benchmarking frameworks, and enabling best-practice sharing across markets.
This role sits within Group Network Fixed Access Engineering, in the Fixed Network Performance department, and works across EU markets with engineering teams, vendors and related stakeholders to investigate service performance issues and identify opportunities for network performance improvement

What you’ll do

  • Investigate performance issues with market teams and support root cause analysis to identify improvement actions.
  • Coordinate fixes and performance improvement initiatives with vendors and markets.
  • Define and track key KPIs to monitor Fixed Access network and customer experience performance.
  • Build dashboards and reports that provide clear performance insights and support decision-making.
  • Improve automation and data quality in collaboration with Big Data teams.
  • Support benchmarking activities, planning and performance assessments across markets.
  • Share best practices across markets and encourage the adoption of successful improvement initiatives.
  • Summarise results and present performance insights to stakeholders and leadership forums.
  • Identify optimisation opportunities and support their implementation to improve customer experience.
  • Contribute to competitive and internal benchmarking frameworks across European markets.

Who you are

  • You enjoy turning KPIs into clear insights and improvement actions, and can communicate your findings to different audiences.
  • You have a degree, or equivalent experience, in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field.
  • You have experience or a strong interest in Fixed Access technologies such as FTTH, HFC or xDSL and network performance topics.
  • You are comfortable using KPIs to understand performance trends and creating dashboards or reports to support performance improvements.
  • You can collaborate effectively across teams, markets and vendors while building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • You are fluent in English and able to present technical findings clearly to different audiences.
  • You have an understanding of how to optimise network performance and customer experience.
  • You can plan improvement priorities together with market teams.
  • You are comfortable working across engineering, deployment, analytics and business teams.
  • You can present results, recommendations and performance trends clearly to stakeholders.
  • You are familiar with benchmarking and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar. Experience with automation or scripting (e.g. Python) is an advantage.
  • Experience working in multinational or cross-functional environments is an advantage

What skills you will learn

  • Advanced Fixed Access Network performance management across HFC, FTTH, xDSL, Wholesale and related fixed technologies.
  • Practical approaches to KPI design, reporting, benchmarking and performance optimisation across multinational network environments.
  • Data analysis, KPI correlation and dashboarding practices using tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI and automation scripting.
  • Cross-market project leadership, stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination for network performance initiatives.
  • Root cause analysis techniques for identifying, investigating and resolving fixed network performance degradation.
